Pearl Knotting 101: April 19 from 10:00-1:00
Discover the art of traditional pearl knotting in this hands-on workshop at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts. Students will learn the fundamentals of hand-knotting techniques while creating a timeless freshwater pearl necklace from start to finish. This classic jewelry skill not only enhances the beauty and drape of pearls but also protects each pearl and adds durability to the finished piece.
In this workshop, students will explore proper thread selection, needle techniques, spacing, tension control, and professional finishing methods, including clasp attachment. Guided step-by-step instruction makes this class accessible to beginners while offering valuable refinement for those with prior jewelry-making experience.
By the end of the workshop, each student will leave with a beautifully hand-knotted freshwater pearl necklace and the confidence to continue pearl knotting in future designs.
