Private Metalsmithing Lessons
Experience metalsmithing at your own pace with a private lesson at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts. Whether you’re brand new to the bench or looking to refine specific skills, our private metalsmithing lessons are tailored entirely to you.
Work one-on-one (or with a small private group) with one of our skilled and encouraging instructors to explore techniques such as sawing, soldering, forming, texturing, stone setting, or finishing. Have a project in mind? We’re happy to help you bring your vision to life—or design a custom lesson around the skills you’d like to learn.
Private lessons are ideal for personalized skill-building, creative exploration, or focused time in a fully equipped professional studio. All tools are provided; materials may be purchased separately depending on your project.
Perfect for:
• Beginners seeking individualized instruction
• Returning students wanting to deepen their skills
• Artists working on a specific project

Step 1
Contact us!
Send us an email with what you're looking for and a few dates you have in mind. For weekend availability (10:00-5:00), it must be booked at least 60 days in advance. Weekdays and evenings are much more flexible and can be booked 1-2 weeks in advance.
Jen, the owner of Silver Peak, will call you discuss details and booking.

Step 2
Schedule & Payment
Upon booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required; Jen will email you an invoice with a secure link to pay.
Private lesson rates (1 person) are $125/hr with a 2 hour minimum. Semi-private rates (2 people) are $200/hr with a 2 hour minimum.
Materials will need to be ordered in advance and will be invoiced at time of booking. Materials fees are non-refundable.
Once the deposit is paid, a confirmation email will be sent with all the details for class, which include dress code, directions, and Jen's direct phone and email.
The remaining balance will be due 24 hours before the start of class.

Step 3
Show up & have fun!
This doesn't really require any explanation. Jen always strives to give an unparalleled learning experience, and at the end of class, you'll be able to proudly say, "I made that!"
