1. Studio Access & Participation

Studio access during class time is limited to enrolled students, instructors, and authorized staff only.

2. Group Class Structure & Placement
Group classes are designed with:

When concerns arise regarding a student’s participation, Silver Peak Jewelry Arts may conduct an individualized assessment considering instructor feedback, prior participation, safety, and class requirements. Placement decisions are based on instructional fit and safety, not personal characteristics unrelated to participation.
3. Reasonable Accommodations
Silver Peak Jewelry Arts complies with applicable accessibility laws and considers reasonable accommodations when appropriate.
The studio is not required to:

Provide one-on-one instruction within a group class

Make changes that fundamentally alter class structure or compromise safety
Alternative options, such as private lessons or referrals to external programs, may be offered.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Group Classes

Registration fees are non-refundable once a class has begun.

If the studio determines a student cannot be accommodated prior to class start, a refund will be issued, and the student may not attend.

Missed classes, dissatisfaction, or post-class project breakage do not qualify for refunds.
Private Lessons

Payment required in full prior to the lesson.

Cancellations >48 hours before incur a $25 administrative fee.

Cancellations <48 hours or no-shows forfeit payment.
5. Project Materials & Outcomes

Metalsmithing involves hand fabrication techniques that may result in delicate or experimental pieces.

Silver Peak Jewelry Arts is not responsible for breakage, wear, or failure of jewelry after leaving the studio.

Repairs may be offered at the studio’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

Materials fees are non-refundable once used.
6. Pets & Animals Policy

No animals are allowed in the studio, except for legally recognized service animals.

Policy exists due to open flames, sharp objects, chemicals, and crowded workspaces.

If a service animal presents a direct safety risk that cannot be mitigated, alternative instruction will be explored.
7. Dress Code & Safety Requirements
For the safety of all participants, students must comply with the following mandatory studio attire and conduct requirements:

Clothing: Cotton-dominant fabric preferred; long pants required.

Footwear: Closed-toe shoes required.

Hair: Hair that can be pulled back must be secured away from face and tools.

Personal Electronics: Headphones are not allowed in the studio.

Prohibited Items: Weapons, drugs, or alcohol are strictly forbidden.

Substance Use: Students appearing to be under the influence will be denied participation.
Failure to comply may result in denial of access or removal from the studio without refund.
8. Conduct & Communication Boundaries
All students and visitors must:
