Intermediate PMC (Precious Metal Clay): January 24 from 9:30-3:30
Welcome to Intermediate PMC! This class will solidify the skills you learned in the basics class, and gives you even more inspiration ideas for your jewelry! Intermediate PMC will show you how to set stones, how to layer your pieces, more about finishing your designs, and how to make more professional-looking bails. You will be working in a group so that everyone can learn and create together. Yes, we will be learning to make 3-D flowers!
Alita, your instructor, will be bringing more design suggestions in the form of textures and shapes, as well as providing some beautiful dichroic glass to work into your designs! If you have decided to purchase your own tools, please bring them for this class, however tools will be provided by the instructor, also. Written outlines will be provided to help jog your memory when you are creating at home, and a printed MOHS hardness reference sheet.
