Ladies' Night Out: Stamped/Textured Adjustable Ring. November 6 from 6-8:30 p.m.

Love rings? Join us for our NEW Adjustable Ring jewelry class; no experience needed! Create a textured or stamped wrap ring in your choice of a silver or gold tone! You’ll learn stamping and texturing techniques as the proper way to size your finger for the perfect fit.

At the end of class, there will be a little social time where you can enjoy sips and snacks (and shop our store for at an exclusive discount).

We will cover:

• types of metal
• ring sizing
• forming
• texturing
• finishing

• Thursday, November 6 form  at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts, 100 E. Cleveland St. Lafayette, CO
• 2.5 contact hours, ages 14+
  
• # students: 3 minimum, 5 maximum
• Class fee includes 1 ring in brass or aluminum. Both metals are nickel-free.
• Prerequisite: none

About the instructor, Maggie Drunkenmiller

Maggie Druckenmiller is a 2024 college graduate with a degree in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College who just moved to Boulder in August. She first learned how to solder a simple ring in eighth grade, and over the past nine years has picked up a wide suite of jewelry knowledge and teaching experience from high school classes and becoming a senior student assistant at Dartmouth College’s student jewelry studio. She enjoys making organic pieces that often have some personal element or association with nature– especially with her home state of Alaska. Maggie loves working with silver and gemstones, funky beaded pieces, and has recently picked up kiln enameling.

While Maggie hopes to actually use her science degree for a while, her ultimate goal is to have her own jewelry studio later in life. Outside of silversmithing she enjoys running, nordic skiing, backcountry skiing, sewing, cooking, and every art medium you can think of.
