Amanda Adkins is the owner of USA Mined Gems and has been passionate about gemstones since childhood. Her journey began at around age 12 when a geologist family member introduced her to gemstone prospecting in the mountains of Colorado. What started as a family adventure quickly grew into a lifelong passion, leading her to explore gem deposits and mining opportunities across the United States.
With an abundance of rough gemstones collected over the years, Amanda naturally progressed into the art and science of gem faceting. Today, she has more than 25 years of experience locating gem deposits, mining gemstones, and precision-cutting them to reveal their full beauty. She is involved in every stage of the process, from sourcing all-natural, ethically mined gemstones to faceting each stone by hand.
As consumer interest in ethically sourced gemstones has grown, Amanda has focused exclusively on American-mined gems. This commitment ensures a transparent and verifiable supply chain, allowing clients to know exactly where their gemstone originated and how it was mined.
